Patty Hearst 'I Haven't Given Advice To Paris'
Ex-convict socialite Patty Hearst has dismissed reports she has been giving advice to Paris Hilton in the wake of her 45 day jail sentence for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license.
Hearst was infamously jailed in the mid-1970s after being found guilty of accompanying her kidnappers on a bank robbery - her seven year prison sentence was commuted by then-US President Jimmy Carter intervened after 22 months.
But the 53-year-old insists she hasn't been in talks with Hilton.
She tells tmz, "Imagine my surprise upon learning of the 'advice' I had been giving Paris Hilton.
"In spite of reports to the contrary, I can assure you that I have not had any contact with Paris (or any member of her family) regarding her upcoming jail time, or any other matter." Paris Hilton's mother Kathy has cleared up the confusion about her daughter's pre-prison advice - it's coming from Patty Hearst's sister, Anne.
Ex-convict socialite Patty Hearst issued a statement yesterday (14May07) insisting reports linking her to advice letters Hilton had received about her upcoming jail spell weren't from her.
And now Kathy Hilton has confirmed that the advice has been coming from Hearst's sister.
She tells news show Entertainment Tonight, "My longtime friend Anne Hearst is concerned for Paris. After talking to her sister Patty, she passed on comforting advice onto our family for Paris."
