George Clooney's pig dies

George Clooney's beloved potbellied pig Max has died.

The pet passed away at the 'Syriana' actor's Hollywood home from old age. He was suffering from arthritis and partial blindness.

Clooney told the USA Today newspaper: "He was as old a pig as the vets had ever seen. I was really surprised when he went. I'm really upset, he's been a big part of my life."

The 45-year-old actor had Max for 18 years, and often spoke of his affection for his pet hog, referring to him as "Max, the star". He even shared his bed with the pig.

Max is not the only animal friend Clooney has lost this year.

He explained: "It has been a bad year for my pets. I had a bulldog that died this year, too. It's strange how animals become a bit part of your family. They really become a big issue with you."

Jackie Chan's porn past

Jackie Chan starred in a porn film when he was a struggling actor.

The martial arts expert, famous for his death-defying stunts, appeared in a Hong Kong made X-rated movie entitled 'All In The Family' 31 years ago when he was an unknown 21-year-old.

However, Chan, now 52, insists he is not ashamed of the film and says if you watch it is very tame compared to modern pornographic movies.

He revealed to Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "I had to do anything I could to make a living but I don't think it's a big deal - even Marlon Brando used to be exposed in some of his movies. The porn movies at that time were far more conservative than the current films."

Chan isn't the only Hollywood action hero with a pornographic past.

Before making it in Tinseltown 'Rocky Balboa' star Sylvester Stallone appeared in a soft-core porn film entitled 'Party at Kitty and Stud's'.

The 'Bobby' star - who has been linked to Paris Hilton's ex-lover Stavros Niarchos - insists she finds unavailable men more attractive.

Lindsay confessed: "It's true. You always want what you can't have. It's alluring. But it does come back to bite you in the ass. It's happened to me."

The 20-year-old actress currently has feelings for a man who is getting back with his ex.

She said: "I like someone, but I think he's back with his ex-girlfriend. I'm very upset about it. It's just so hard."

Lindsay likes any man who is considered off-limits.

He says, "Bollywood actors are conveying vulgarity in the society.

"These films cannot be watched with our families, they are so vulgar at times."

The case will be heard on 11 December (06) at a local court near the city of Bhopal.

Dhoom 2 was released with just a 'parental discretion' rating by the Indian censor board.

Suspicious Pammie

Pamela Anderson's estranged husband Kid Rock was in contact with his ex-girlfriend before the pair split, it has been claimed.

The 'Blonde and Blonder' actress is said to have been suspicious of Rock's close relationshp with former love Conchita Leeflang, an aspiring singer, and believed they may have been more than friends.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Rock and Conchita are both from Suriname. They dated in 2005 and Conchita still has loads of pictures of them hanging out at last year's Kentucky Derby together posted on her website. Pamela was suspicious of them for months."

The former 'Baywatch' star filed for divorce last week after barely just over three months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple - who had dated previously - married on a yacht off the coast of St. Tropez in August.

Pamela suffered a miscarriage last month while filming her new movie in Canada.

Madonna accepts ruling

Madonna has accepted a High Court ruling allowing human rights groups to monitor her adoption of a Malawi baby.

Madonna's lawyer Alan Chinula - who was speaking outside a court in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi - said: "Madonna and Guy Ritchie have called me from London and I have explained to them the ruling. They have no problem with the ruling and are willing to sit back and wait."

Judge Andrew Nyirenda ruled the Human Rights Consultative Committee and the state-run Malawi Human Rights Commission were "friends of the court" and could pursue their application for a full review of Madonna's interim custody order for 14-month-old David Banda.

A coalition of 67 Malawi groups lodged a petition to the court insisting the law did not permit intra-country adoption. The group also asked to be involved in assessing Madonna's suitability as a mother to David.

They claim the government has cut legal corners to "fast-track" the adoption and demanded new regulations are installed to protect children.

Malawi law states that prospective parents must undergo an 18 to 24-month assessment period in the country. Madonna and Guy were allowed to take David to their London home, where they will be visited twice for assessment.

Lindsay Lohan goes to AA

Lindsay Lohan has gone to Alcoholics Anonymous to seek help for her heavy drinking.

The actress, famed for her love of partying, was apparently spotted going into an AA meeting in Los Angeles at 7.30am on Wednesday (29.11.06).

A friend of Lindsay's claims she has been going to meetings in secret for a short while and is hoping the sessions will help her curb her wild behaviour.

The pal told the New York Post newspaper: "She has attended several meetings and has hopefully decided to turn her life around - this time for good. She is out of control."

Lindsay, 20, has been out partying almost continuously since last week - she was pictured with on/off rival Paris Hilton and the heiress' new best friend Britney Spears on Monday (27.11.06).

Her concerned mother Dina has now flown to Los Angeles to help her daughter cut down on her nights out.

Tom Cruise's stinky home

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' new British love nest is currently inhabitable - because it stinks of sewage.

It appears the newlyweds will not be able to make use of the £2.5 million mansion for a while, as it has been overtaken by unbearable smell, caused by ongoing sewage works.

The appalling stench has been caused by Tom and Katie's neighbours at Dormans Park village emptying their garden drains.

Neighbour Emma Tanning told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "The pong is absolutely putrid when the cesspits are being empties. If Tom moves in before the work is completed it won't be smelling very pretty. I don't think Katie will be happy."

The works are expected to carry into the New Year.

Lindsay Lohan has accused rival Paris Hilton of hitting her.

The 'Mean Girls' actress, who has been feuding with the socialite for months, claims Paris struck her for no reason at a house party held by a mutual friend in Los Angeles.

Lindsay, 20, made the allegation to a film camera crew waiting for her outside a Los Angeles hotel. She even showed them a bruise on her left arm which she claims was caused by Paris.

She told X17: "I'm saying this on tape. She hit me for no apparent reason at my friend's house. I didn't know she would be there and she hit me with a drink and poured it all over me. It hurts and it's not OK.

"I'm sorry for everyone who thinks I'm crazy but I'm just trying to act."

It has been confirmed that Paris did attend the bash with new friend Britney Spears, but her representative Elliot Mintz has vehemently denied she hit Lindsay.

Britney Spears' wild partying is putting her music career in jeopardy.

The 'Toxic' singer - who recently filed for divorce from husband Kevin Federline - spent every night of Thanksgiving weekend in Los Angeles partying until 6am with new best friend Paris Hilton and the late nights are taking their toll.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Britney has been missing recent recording sessions because she has been out all night partying.

"Her label, Jive, is very worried."

The 24-year-old star, who has two young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, has been telling her friends: "I gave birth for two-and-a-half years, and now I want to party."

Meanwhile, Britney has donated 170 personal items to an online auction at Christie's in aid of the Britney Spears Foundation for children in need.

Tom Cruise had to wear a girdle on his wedding day to fit into his tuxedo, it has been claimed.

The 'Top Gun' star is said to be a nervous eater and put on so much weight in the run up to his wedding to Katie Holmes he needed some help getting into his Armani suit.

According to US gossip columnist Janet Charlton, a source at Armani said: "Tom packed on around twenty pounds in the past few months before the big event. He says he's a 'nervous eater'.

"When Tom arrived in Rome, we hear that Giorgio Armani was apoplectic because the wedding tux was too small.

Armani personally tended to all the fittings while Tom's pants were let out and various details were adjusted.

The source added: "Tom wanted to look svelte so he didn't protest when Giorgio suggested girdling Tom's midsection so the jacket would fall properly. The corset was sewn into Tom's undergarment."

A film called The Mighty Heart, based on a book by Daniel's wife Marianne, is currently being made by Pitt's production company in India and stars Jolie.
